Like a genie in the bottle, the wondrous hop aroma escapes before the seal is completely uncapped. Close your eyes and thoughts of European pils appear. Alas, the genie's pale pallet possesses only a touch of barley color and a head that disappears before you can count to three. Mouthfeel, however, is sprightly and the flavors are clean and balanced with the lovely hop character promised by the nose. My wishes were granted with tuna tartar, boiled new potatoes, and a freshly baked focaccia.
