Proceeds from the event will benefit the East Bay Bike Coalition
Trumer Brauerei Berkeley, makers of the world’s best pilsner, is toasting local filmmakers at its Bike-In Movie Night. The brewery is supporting the arts by hosting a green event to support the East Bay Bike Coalition and its mission to promote bicycling as an everyday means of transportation and recreation. The Trumer brewers and staff invite locals to ride on over to support the East Bay Bike Coalition, while enjoying the local arts and Trumer Pils. General admission is $5, or free with purchase of an East Bay Bike Coalition membership, and includes one complimentary Trumer Pils tasting. Guests can partake in a tour of the Trumer brewery from 7:45p.m. to 8:15p.m. and enter to win a beach cruiser bicycle, as well as other prizes.
The evening’s featured films will begin at 8:30p.m, directly following the brewery tour. The evening will begin with Scrapertown, followed by the winning short film from the East Bay Express 24 Hour Digital Film Festival, The Solution, ending with the feature film, With My Own Two Wheels.
At Bike-In Movie Night, attendees can drink, watch and support the East Bay Bike Coalition and enjoy the following:
- A brewery tour and complimentary tasting
- A raffle to win a beach cruiser bike, with proceeds benefitting the East Bay Bike Coalition
- Films made by local artists
- $5 Trumer Pils, with proceeds benefitting the East Bay Bike Coalition
- Free popcorn!
